Our New Senior Pastor!

God, in His grace, saved Scott in 1988, following a severe car accident, and called him into ministry.  A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott has earned degrees from the Criswell College (B.A.), The Master’s Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.).  He has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1990, serving churches in Texas, California, Illinois, and Florida.  In 1996, Scott planted Grace Community Church in Jacksonville, where for nearly 15 years he was faithful in shepherding God’s flock, preaching God’s Word, and training men for ministry.  He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees and faculty member for The Expositors Seminary where he taught hermeneutics and expository preaching.  Scott and his wife, Heather, enjoy life together with the blessing of their four sons:  Troye, Hudson, Luke, and Titus.
