God, in His grace, saved Scott in 1988, following a severe car accident, and called him into ministry.  A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott has earned degrees from the Criswell College (B.A.), The Master’s Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.).  He has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1990, serving churches in Texas, California, Illinois, Florida, and now Arizona.  In 1996, Scott planted Grace Community Church in Jacksonville, Florida, where for nearly 15 years he shepherded God’s flock, preached God’s Word, and trained men for ministry.  In 2011, God has graciously relocated him and his family to Northwest Community Church in Phoenix where he is able to pursue those same passions as Senior Pastor.  Dr. Christmas continues to serve on the Board of Directors for The Expositors Seminary, where he previously taught hermeneutics and expository preaching.  Scott and his wife, Heather, enjoy life together with the blessing of their four sons:  Troye, Hudson, Luke, and Titus.
