Phil grew up in a non-Christian home.  While he was in college, his older brother witnessed to him about God using the creation/evolution debate.  This impacted Philip because science was his god at that time.  During his senior year of college, the Lord drew Philip to Himself, removed the scales from his eyes and Philip placed his faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ during a Christmas Eve service at NCC.  Philip has served in many areas at NCC since that night and currently serves as a Deacon, chairman of the finance committee and as church treasurer.  Philip is currently employed by General Dynamics.  He and his wife, Tammy, do one-on-one discipling in biblical financial stewardship.  Philip and Tammy were married in 1985 and have four children.
