Membership

A family member of Northwest Community Church is an individual who:

• has committed his/her life to Jesus Christ
• has demonstrated the commitment through water baptism
• desires to live for His honor and glory
• is in agreement with the doctrinal statement of NCC
• is committed to living according to the church mission statement
• is willing to be held accountable for progression in the faith
• is willing to contribute to the spiritual encouragement and development of others by means of personal abilities and resources
• participates regularly in the life of the church understanding that those who love God will also love those born of Him.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER
Family membership is simply a way to identify yourself with this local community of believers in following Jesus Christ.  Family membership is required to serve in certain key leadership positions, and to vote in the annual congregational meetings where elders and deacons are affirmed along with the annual budget.  We invite you to join us!

PROCESS
Please either fill out the response card in our bulletin and indicate “Membership” or call the church office.  You’ll receive a letter with information and the date of our next “Connecting with NCC” membership class.  You may also read our Doctrinal Statement online or pick up a copy in the foyer racks.  You can also print off our Family Membership Application by clicking on the link below.
