Growth Groups

God has created us to be in relationship with Him and with one another.  Christ states that we will be known as His disciples by our love for one another.  Therefore, a successful growing Christian life cannot be lived in isolation.  However, connecting with each other in a culture that encourages self-centered isolation is not easy.  To remedy this, our ministry structure includes Sunday morning Growth Groups for adults of all ages during both worship services.  These provide the place for spiritual growth by building godly relationships, as well as providing opportunities to serve others.  If you are not part of a Sunday morning Growth Group you are missing out on experiencing the heartbeat of Northwest Community Church.

Bereans is a relational class for all ages, married, single, kids, or not.  Together we enjoy refreshments, studying and discussing God’s Word, and sharing in prayer and fellowship.  Currently we are reviewing NCC’s doctrinal statement, what we believe, and why we believe it.

Looking for a diversely-aged class that’s a little unconventional?  Faith Builders is “proving themselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers.”  We are taking sound teaching and living it out through meaningful, well planned events and activities intended to reach the community around us.  Our class time is devoted to prayer, preparing, organizing, and implementing these events and activities.   Come join the adventure!

This multigenerational group invites everyone to come and participate!  You’ll find a vital, growing group of men and women studying our NCC church doctrine and asking “Do You Know What You Believe?”  Our heart is to grow in our love for Christ and each other, connect socially, and serve our community.

An “all ages” adult class for the single or married, young family or grandparent.  As we make our way through Genesis we will discover how God’s Word is applicable in new and practical ways.  We have lively table discussions that prompt personal application.  In addition our class offers small home groups during the week and fun socials during the month.

While this class is mostly made up of our Silver Saints, all are welcome!  Here we love to study God’s word taught in an expository manner, enjoy refreshments, minister to each other, and pray.  Lively discussion is encouraged as we study NCC’s Doctrinal Statement.  A monthly potluck and smaller Bible studies also build our treasured relationships.

Finishing strong for the Lord and doing what matters is the thread that runs through the teaching and ministry philosophy of Bridges.  If you want to get connected with a group of believers who study God’s word and daily apply it, join us!  Currently we are going through the book Jesus Christ The Greatest Life.

If you are roughly between the ages of 18 and 28, come join us!  We encourage you to attend first service and then meet us for class.  Currently we are working our way through the book of Genesis.
