Growth Groups

God has created us to be in relationship with Him and with one another.  Christ states that we will be known as His disciples by our love for one another.  Therefore, a successful growing Christian life cannot be lived in isolation.  However, connecting with each other in a culture that encourages self-centered isolation is not easy.  To remedy this, our ministry structure includes Sunday morning Growth Groups for adults of all ages during both worship services.  These provide the place for spiritual growth by building godly relationships, as well as providing opportunities to serve others.  If you are not part of a Sunday morning Growth Group you are missing out on experiencing the heartbeat of Northwest Community Church.

Bereans is for all ages.  We have a great time for fellowship, refreshments, prayer requests, and praises.  Right now we are going through The Truth Project, which includes a video and interactive table time.  We begin at 8:30 am.

This is a diverse age group with class members in their 20s thru their 70s.  We enjoy life on life relationship building with a combination of teaching, discussion, and application of the lesson.  Our current series is designed around the topic of missions with a highlight/interview of five missionaries that our class is supporting.

Want to be part of an exciting family?  You’ll find a vital, growing group of young men and women studying God’s Word together regarding issues that impact our lives.  Our heart is to grow in our love for Christ and each other, connect socially, and serve our community.  Currently we are studying the book of Ephesians.  Although most participants are in their 20s and 30s, we invite anyone to come check us out.

Here we love to study God’s word taught in an expository manner, fellowship, enjoy refreshments, minister to each other, and pray.  Lively discussion is encouraged as we study the book of Romans.  A monthly potluck the last Sunday of each month builds the fellowship relationships.  We also sponsors smaller Bible studies throughout the week for added social and spiritual growth.  All adults are welcome!

Now here is a rocking adult class offered Sunday mornings.  We have a fabulous time of fellowship, refreshments, music, and worship each time we get together.  Faithfully we gather to pray for each other, our church, and country.  Our current study is Philippians.

If you are roughly between the ages of 18 and 35, come join us!  Grab some lunch and head upstairs at 1 pm.  There we spend time in fellowship and then participate in an interactive study of God’s Word.  Currently we are going through 1 Corinthians.
