New Service Times

Perhaps you have noticed recently that our Sunday morning services have tended to run a bit longer than scheduled.  We have so many good things going on at NCC on Sunday mornings.  Every week, there’s a time squeeze to get everything packed into an hour and 15 minutes, and often we don’t end on time. 

Sometimes, as the clock speeds ahead, worship songs get cut to help end on time.  Other times, the sermon is abbreviated and important truths are not shared.  Not ending at a predictable time is especially hard for those who care for the children, making it difficult for teachers to know when to wrap up their lessons and play times.

Accordingly, the Elders and Pastors have decided to add 15 minutes to each morning service, which began August 7.  After much deliberation over the best schedule for these longer services, this is what was decided.

1st Service
8:30 to 10:00 am

2nd Service
10:30 to 12:00 noon

We understand that starting the first service 30 minutes earlier will challenge all those involved to step up their commitment a notch.  But, we are confident that the gain will be worth the pain!
